The Reserves got off to a flyer last Sunday against the League cup finalists, quickly racing into a two goal lead.
First Robyn Smith found the target then Cheryl Rigden kept up her impressive run of scoring form with a fine finish. The attacking play of midfielders Burnett and Kilcoyne kept the west coast side hemmed in, with Percy and Phillips producing a defensive master class to keep their lead in intact. A lapse in concentration just before the break allowed the Paisley side to reduce the deficit just before half time, and this acted as a springboard for their 2nd half performance.

A fine sweeping move up field saw the home side draw level as the game’s second half developed. Farmington looked to hit back; first through Eilidh Reid whose shot after a surging run went just wide, and then Rigden who just missed a Gallacher corner. Reserves keeper Dana Soutar kept the Farmington goal intact for the rest of the match with a number of fine stops, and indeed Farmington could have taken full points near the death but Danni McGinley couldn’t force her effort on target.

Although sharing the points once again, this was a positive display from Russell Todd’s charges.
