The Wildcats moved into the quarter finals of the League Cup with another quality team performance although they made the fans sweat at the end. After 11 minutes Cali Roberts put the wildcats 1 up after latching on to a long goal kick from Hannah Dryden. 13 minutes later & incredibly,it was keeper Dryden who scored her second of the season straight from another long kick from hand which evaded the Celtic goalkeeper.

9 minutes into the 2nd half & the goal of the game after a great burst down the wing,Lia Cameron brilliantly picked out Taylor McEwen to lash home from 12 yards. Celtic got back into the game on 45 minutes & then scored a 2nd with 3 minutes to go to add to the cup tie tense atmosphere but the Wildcats fought for everything throughout the game with Morgan McVicar typifying the Wildcats spirit with a usual battling midfield display that saw them safely into the semi finals.
