Farmington Wildcats made the short trip to Dundee to take on Celtic Tayside on Saturday and duly returned with full points after a hard fought but well deserved victory. Farmington raced into a quick 1-0 lead when some great passing in midfield allowed Sophie Young to pass to Katie Valentine who slotted home in great style. Farmingtons Wildcats lead doubled moments later when Sophie Young scored with a great strike from the edge of the box.

After some presure Celtic Tayside pulled a goal back to make the scoreline 2-1 at half time. Farmington Wildcats started the second half well and raced into a 3-1 lead after a great finnish by Cali Roberts, after another spell of presure Farmington Wildcats found themselves pegged back to 3-3. With the game drawing to a close Farmington Wildcats broke forward at speed allowing Katie Valentine to score a great goal into the top corner, then with time almost up goalkeeper Hannah Dryden produced a wonder save to ensure the Farmington Wildcats a great 4-3 victory.
